Ryan Cho teaches Social Studies, English, and Music at Terry Fox Secondary School in Port Coquitlam, BC, Canada.  He has been a co-sponsor of the Terry Fox SOGI (Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity) student group, is a former Co-Chair the BCTF Committee for Action on Social Justice and sat on the Anti-Poverty and Anti-Racism advisory committees.  He is the author of the CCPA's Climate Justice Curriculum and the was responsible for the 2018 redesign of the BCTF's Show Racism the Red Card Curriculum Resource.  Currently he is the Chair of the Coquitlam Teacher's Association BIPOC (Black Indigenous and People of Colour) Educator's group, and Staff Union Rep for Terry Fox.

Originally from Victoria, he’s lived in the lower mainland for over 10 years, and spends most of his non work time making music, writing, bouldering, and doing jiu jitsu and capoeira.
